ASUS ROG Strix Impact III Wired Gaming Mouse

12,000 DPI Optical59 g LightweightSwappable SwitchesParacord Cable

The ASUS ROG Strix Impact III is a lightweight 59 g wired gaming mouse with a 12,000 DPI optical sensor, built for FPS and everyday play where speed and precision matter. Sold as part number 90MP0300-BMUA00 in black, it uses a symmetrical semi-ambidextrous shape, ROG Micro Switches rated for 70 million clicks, and a push-fit socket that lets you swap in your own 3-pin switches. A supple ROG Paracord cable and 100% PTFE feet keep movement smooth and drag-free. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Setup & compatibility
Connects via USB Type-A and works plug-and-play on Windows; install Armoury Crate to remap the 5 programmable buttons, tune DPI stages and adjust the polling rate. The push-fit switch socket accepts compatible 3-pin mechanical switches. The side buttons sit on the left, so it best suits right-handed and claw or fingertip grips.

Key Features

12,000 DPI optical precision
A tuned optical sensor tracks from 100 to 12,000 DPI with 1% deviation, up to 650 IPS and 50 G acceleration, for accurate aim at any sensitivity.

59 g lightweight, swappable switches
At just 59 grams the Impact III is easy to flick, while ROG Micro Switches (70M clicks) and the push-fit socket let you replace switches without soldering.

Near-zero latency & smooth glide
A zero-gap button design delivers near-instant clicks, and the flexible ROG Paracord cable with 100% PTFE feet minimises drag for effortless movement.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the ROG Strix Impact III weigh?
It weighs just 59 grams, making it one of the lighter wired gaming mice and easy to lift and flick during fast-paced games.
Can I replace the switches?
Yes. It uses ROG's push-fit switch socket, so you can swap in compatible 3-pin mechanical switches by hand — no soldering required — to change the click feel or extend its life.
Is it suitable for left-handed use?
The shell is symmetrical, but the two side buttons are on the left side only, so it is best suited to right-handed players. Left-handed users can still use it without the thumb buttons.
What is the difference between the Impact III wired and wireless?
This wired model connects over USB with a 1000 Hz polling rate and a 12,000 DPI sensor. The wireless version adds tri-mode connectivity and a higher-end sensor, at a higher price.
Singular Expert Insight
The wired Impact III is a smart value pick for FPS players who want a light 59 g mouse with a reliable 12,000 DPI sensor and the rare bonus of hot-swappable switches. If you would rather cut the cable, step up to the Strix Impact III Wireless; if you want an even higher-end sensor, look at the ROG Harpe Ace. Pair it with a large cloth pad like the ROG Sheath for consistent low-sensitivity tracking.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You want a light 59 g wired gaming mouse with a fast 12,000 DPI sensor and the flexibility to swap switches yourself.
Skip it if
You need a wireless mouse or thumb buttons on both sides for left-handed play — this is a wired, right-hand-oriented design.
Also consider
The ROG Strix Impact III Wireless for cable-free play, or the ROG Harpe Ace for a higher-end 36,000 DPI sensor.
