Key Features

4K 240 Hz WOLED
Native 3840 × 2160 at 240 Hz on LG Display WOLED panel — both pixel density and refresh that high-end RTX 4080/4090 builds can drive in modern AAA games with DLSS / Frame Generation.

0.03 ms response · 1300 nits HDR
OLED-class 0.03 ms eliminates motion blur and ghosting. 1300 cd/m² peak HDR brightness on highlights, with DisplayHDR True Black 400 contrast for dramatic dark scenes.

USB-C 90W + HDMI 2.1
USB-C with 90W PD charges a MacBook Pro through a single cable. HDMI 2.1 supports PS5 / Xbox Series X at 4K 120 Hz with VRR.

ROG OLED Care
Custom heatsink, pixel cleaning, screen saver, screen shift, logo dimming — combined to mitigate OLED burn-in over the monitor's lifetime. ASUS includes burn-in warranty (verify EU reseller terms).

Frequently Asked Questions

ROG Strix XG vs ROG Swift PG — what's the difference?
ROG Strix XG (this monitor) is the more accessible ROG tier — strong specs at a lower price than ROG Swift PG flagships. ROG Swift PG32UCDMR adds QD-OLED panel, more premium build and ROG branding. Both deliver 4K 240Hz; pick by panel preference (WOLED vs QD-OLED) and budget.
Does HDMI 2.1 deliver 4K 120 Hz for PS5 / Xbox Series X?
Yes — HDMI 2.1 supports 4K 120 Hz with VRR and ALLM on PS5 and Xbox Series X. Use HDMI for consoles; DisplayPort 1.4 carries 4K 240 Hz on PC.
Will it suffer OLED burn-in?
OLED burn-in risk is real for static UI over many hours. ASUS combines pixel shift, screen saver, panel refresh and custom heatsink cooling to mitigate. For mixed gaming + content + occasional work, OLED is fine. For static productivity UI all day, prefer LCD.
Will USB-C 90W charge a MacBook Pro 16"?
Yes — 90W PD over USB-C charges 13"/14" MacBook Pro at full speed and 16" at sustained-use rate. Carries 4K video and USB hub through the same cable.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose XG32UCWMG if you want 32" 4K 240Hz WOLED gaming at the ROG Strix price tier — solid OLED performance with USB-C docking and HDMI 2.1 for consoles. If you want QD-OLED instead, look at the ROG Swift PG32UCDMR. For static productivity-heavy work prefer LCD to avoid burn-in risk.
