The ASUS ProArt Switch PQG-U1080 is an unmanaged desktop switch with eight 2.5G RJ45 ports and two 10G SFP+ ports, built for creator studios and small offices that want multi-gigabit speed between PCs, a NAS and a fast router without any configuration.
Plug it in and every port negotiates automatically: 2.5G devices run at 2.5 Gbps, older Gigabit devices still work at 1 Gbps, and the two SFP+ slots give 10G links to a NAS, workstation or 10G router through modules or DAC cables you choose.
Before you order: The SFP+ ports need SFP+ transceiver modules or DAC cables, which are not included, and ASUS publishes no compatibility list for them. This is an unmanaged switch: there are no VLANs, QoS settings or web interface.
