FRITZ!Box 7590 AX — Flagship Wi-Fi 6 DSL Router with Supervectoring, Mesh and DECT
VDSL Supervectoring 300 Mbit/sWi-Fi 6 4x4 up to 3.6 Gbit/sGigabit WAN + 4x LANDECT + 2 phone ports
The FRITZ!Box 7590 AX is a DSL modem router with a built-in modem for ADSL2+, VDSL and supervectoring lines up to 300 Mbit/s, combined with 4x4 Wi-Fi 6 at up to 3.6 Gbit/s, for homes and small offices that want one box for internet, Wi-Fi, wired network and telephony. A Gigabit WAN port also lets it run behind a fibre or cable modem instead of DSL.
It shares the connection over four Gigabit LAN ports and FRITZ! Mesh Wi-Fi with WPA3, and two USB 3.0 ports share drives or connect a mobile dongle as backup internet. For phones, it is a DECT base for six handsets with DECT ULE smart home support, two analogue phone ports and five answering machines.
Before you order: Supervectoring and VDSL work only if your provider's line and profile support them. FRITZ! does not publish the plug type for this international item number — ask us before ordering.

- Quick guide
What It Means in Practice
- Replaces the provider router: DSL modem, Wi-Fi 6 router, switch and DECT base in one unit.
- 4x4 Wi-Fi 6 with 2400 Mbit/s on 5 GHz handles many phones, laptops and TVs at once; add FRITZ! Mesh repeaters for larger homes.
- On fibre or cable, connect the provider modem to the Gigabit WAN port and keep all FRITZ! features.
- Plug a mobile USB dongle into a USB 3.0 port for automatic backup internet if the line drops.
What Will Not Work
- It has no built-in 4G/5G modem — mobile backup needs a USB dongle.
- ISDN S0 is not listed on the current FRITZ! specifications, so do not rely on it for ISDN phone systems.
- The DSL modem will not work on fibre (FTTH) lines directly — use the WAN port with the provider's fibre terminal.
- Supervectoring speeds depend on your line; it will not exceed what your provider delivers.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The 7590 AX is the all-in-one choice for DSL households and offices that want strong Wi-Fi 6, wired ports and cordless phones from one box, with a WAN port ready for a later move to fibre. Larger homes should plan for mesh repeaters from our
range boosters section.
✓ Buy it if you have ADSL/VDSL now, may move to fibre later, and want Wi-Fi 6 plus DECT telephony.
✕ Skip it if you have no fixed line — choose a FRITZ!Box 5G model — or you only need a basic Wi-Fi router.
→ Also consider the FRITZ!Box 6850 5G or 6860 5G for mobile broadband.
Tell us your provider and line type (ADSL, VDSL, fibre) and we will check compatibility before you order.
