The Axis T91B50 Telescopic Ceiling Mount (5507-451) is an adjustable pendant pipe that hangs Axis PTZ cameras and outdoor domes from high ceilings, indoors or outdoors. It is used in warehouses, atriums, car parks, stations and halls where a camera mounted flush on a high ceiling would be too far from the scene.
The pipe telescopes from about 1.15 m to 2.14 m straight out of the box, and extension pipes take it up to 5 m. A ball joint at the top swivels ±45°, so the camera still hangs vertically from a sloped roof. Cables run inside the pipe through 3/4-inch conduit holes, and the pipe carries up to 10 kg.
Before you order: The mount ends in a 1.5-inch NPS thread. Each Axis camera family needs its own pendant kit or adapter (for example T94A01D for P55/P56/Q60/Q61 PTZ cameras), which is not included. Tell us the camera model and we will add the right adapter.

What It Means in Practice
- You can bring a PTZ camera down to the right height under a high roof, so it sees faces and number plates instead of the tops of heads.
- The telescopic length is set on site, so you do not need to know the exact drop before ordering.
- On a sloped ceiling the ±45° ball joint keeps the camera hanging straight, which matters for PTZ cameras.
- Cables run inside the pipe, protected and out of reach.
What Will Not Work
- It does not include the camera adapter or pendant kit; without the right one for your camera, it will not attach.
- Extension pipes for drops beyond 2 m are sold separately.
- It will not carry loads above 10 kg.
- Axis does not publish a colour or operating temperature for this mount; check with us if the colour must match.
