AXIS M2036-LE — compact 4MP bullet with a 130° view

4MP 1512p130° wide viewOptimizedIR 20 mWhite · 02125-001

The AXIS M2036-LE (part number 02125-001) is a compact 4-megapixel outdoor bullet camera in a white housing, with an ultra-wide 2.4 mm lens covering 130° horizontally. Axis adds OptimizedIR night vision to 20 metres or more, a deep-learning processor running AXIS Object Analytics for people and vehicles, and IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK08 protection. It is a cost-effective way to cover a car park, a yard or the side of a building with one Axis camera instead of two.

Compatibility — check before buying:
No microphone and no I/O on the camera. Two-way audio and alarm I/O work only through Axis portcast accessories such as the AXIS T6101 Mk II or T6112 Mk II, bought separately. The lens is fixed at 2.4 mm — superb for width, not for recognising faces far away. No mount accessories, no microSD card and no PoE injector in the box. This is the white version; the black one is 02134-001. Tell us what you need to see and at what distance, and we confirm it fits.

Best For

✓ Car parks and yards
✓ Building sides and alleys
✓ Loading bays and delivery areas
✓ Shop fronts needing wide coverage
✓ Sites replacing two narrow cameras with one
✓ Axis systems adding affordable outdoor coverage

Key Features

130° in one camera
A 2.4 mm F2.1 lens covers 130° horizontally at 16:9 (109° at 4:3) with 4MP resolution, so a whole façade or yard fits in one image.

Analytics on the camera
A deep-learning processing unit runs AXIS Object Analytics to detect and classify people, vehicles and vehicle types, plus Scene Metadata and Live Privacy Shield masking.

Night vision with OptimizedIR
855 nm OptimizedIR reaches 20 m or more depending on the scene, with 0 lux black-and-white images when it is fully dark.

Tough and secure
IP66/IP67, NEMA 4X and IK08 in aluminium and plastic, with Axis Edge Vault and a CC EAL6+ secure element protecting the device identity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hear or talk through it?
Not on its own — it has no built-in microphone. Two-way audio works through an Axis portcast accessory (for example AXIS T6101 Mk II) connected between the camera and the switch. Ask us and we price the set.
Will it recognise faces at the gate?
The 130° lens is made for coverage. At more than a few metres a face occupies few pixels, so for identification at a gate we suggest adding a narrower camera.
Which recorder or video software does it work with?
Axis cameras are set up through their web interface and record to a microSD card, a NAS, AXIS Camera Station or a third-party video management system. Recorder support varies by brand and firmware, so tell us the NVR or VMS you run and we confirm this exact model before you order.
What warranty do I get from Singular?
You get Singular’s 1-year direct warranty, handled locally in Cyprus. Axis also publishes a 5-year warranty on this camera; after our first year we help you with the Axis process for the rest of that term.
Singular Expert Insight
The M2036-LE is the widest affordable Axis bullet in our IP camera range: one camera covers what used to take two. Its Class 3 PoE draw runs from any standard PoE switch. In Cyprus, 50 °C maximum is enough for most walls, but avoid mounting it facing west in full sun.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want wide 4MP coverage with Axis analytics and IR in a compact outdoor bullet, in a white finish.

Skip it if

You need built-in audio, alarm I/O without accessories, or face identification at distance.

Also consider

The black M2036-LE (02134-001), or a varifocal Axis camera when you need a narrower field of view.
