The AXIS Multicable C I/O Audio Power (part number 5506-191) is a 5 m multi-connector cable for AXIS cameras that have the AXIS push-pull system connector. AXIS describes it as a cable that provides I/O connectivity, audio in/out and AC/DC power for cameras. The camera end is an outdoor-ready push-pull connector; the other end splits into separate leads that terminate on AXIS terminal-block connectors for inputs, outputs, audio and power. In practice it is the cable you need when a PTZ camera has to be powered from a 24 V supply instead of PoE, or when you want to connect a microphone, a speaker, a door contact or an alarm output to the camera.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Only for AXIS cameras with the matching push-pull system connector. AXIS lists the P5655-E and P5676-LE PTZ cameras on its accessory page, and the P5635-E Mk II datasheet lists the Multicable C as an optional accessory. It is not a generic cable and does not fit other brands. If your camera runs on PoE alone and needs no audio or I/O, you do not need it. A power supply and microphone are not included; AXIS lists the T8007 PS24 adapter and T8351 Mk II microphone as matching accessories. A 1 m version exists (5506-201). Not sure?
