The AXIS T8154 60 W SFP Midspan (part number 02740-002, EU version) powers a PoE device with up to 60 W and connects it either to copper Ethernet or to a fibre link. It has one RJ45 data input (10/100/1000), one SFP slot for a 100/1000 fibre module, and one RJ45 output that carries data and power. It supports IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Class 6 and Axis High PoE at 55 V DC, runs from 100–240 V AC and can be mounted on a wall, a shelf, a DIN rail or inside an AXIS wall mount. In practice it brings a PTZ camera on a remote pole onto a fibre backbone.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the Europe version (02740-002). AXIS makes the T8154 in regional versions that differ by the power cable in the box: 02740-002 is the Europe version and 02740-003 the UK version.
