BakkerElkhuizen Handshake 3-Mode Vertical Mouse — Right-Handed
90° handshake postureBluetooth / USB-C dongle / wired6 DPI steps up to 6400Rechargeable, charge and work
The BakkerElkhuizen Handshake 3-Mode Vertical Mouse for the right hand (BNEHS3MVMR) puts the hand in a fully upright 90-degree handshake position, which BakkerElkhuizen designs for small to medium hands. It connects three ways: Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz dongle with a USB-C plug, or wired over the USB-C to USB-C cable that also charges it. The manual lists six DPI steps up to 6400, forward and back buttons, a rechargeable battery you can use while charging, and plug-and-play operation with no software.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the Handshake vertical mouse, not the HandShoe mouse — a different BakkerElkhuizen product with a flat, size-specific shell. Right-hand version; the left-hand model is BNEHS3MVML. The dongle is USB-C, so an older desktop with only USB-A ports needs an adapter or has to use Bluetooth or the cable. BakkerElkhuizen states small to medium hands; large hands should ask us before ordering. The website and the manual list slightly different DPI ladders (800 vs 1000 at the lowest step) — both top out at 6400.
Best For
✓ Wrist pain that a 57-degree vertical mouse has not fixed
✓ Small to medium right hands
✓ Laptops with USB-C only (dongle is USB-C)
✓ Switching between a Bluetooth laptop and a docked PC
✓ Corporate ergonomics programmes (3-year, 5 with registration)
✓ Plug-and-play desks with no software
Key Features
Fully upright grip
A 90-degree handshake angle keeps the forearm bones parallel rather than crossed. The thumb rests on the side with forward and back buttons in reach.
Three ways to connect
Bluetooth (BakkerElkhuizen states up to 2 devices), a 2.4 GHz dongle with a USB-C plug, or the USB-C to USB-C cable in wired mode.
Six DPI steps to 6400
A DPI button behind the wheel steps through six settings up to 6400 DPI, so the same mouse suits a laptop screen or a large monitor. Rechargeable, charge-and-work.

Singular Expert Insight
The Handshake is the most upright of the vertical wireless mice we carry — 90 degrees against the 57–60 degrees of the Logitech Lift, Trust Bayo+ and Fellowes Breyta — and the only one here with a USB-C dongle, which suits modern laptops and docking stations out of the box. It is the pick when a moderate angle has not relieved the wrist. If you need a large size or published weight and battery figures, the Lift or Bayo+ document more.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a fully upright grip for a small-to-medium right hand, want Bluetooth plus a USB-C dongle plus wired mode, and value a 3-to-5-year warranty.
Skip it if
You have large hands, need a left-hand model (BNEHS3MVML), or your PC has only USB-A ports and no Bluetooth.
Also consider
Logitech Lift (910-006473) for a gentler 57-degree angle, or Fellowes Breyta (100143579) for a 60-degree Bluetooth-only design.
