The Belkin Connect 8-Port USB-C Hub with 2.5Gb Ethernet (INC024HQSGY) turns one USB-C port on your laptop into a full desk setup: an HDMI output for a 4K monitor at 60 Hz, 2.5 Gigabit wired networking, three 10 Gbps USB ports, SD and microSD card slots, and a USB-C Power Delivery input that passes up to 100 W through to your laptop. It is aimed at MacBook, Windows and Chromebook users who want faster-than-Gigabit Ethernet and a 4K screen without a full docking station. The 20 cm cable is attached, it needs no drivers on Windows, macOS or ChromeOS, and the space grey aluminium-look finish sits neatly beside a MacBook.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Your laptop’s USB-C port must support video output (DisplayPort Alt Mode) for the HDMI port to work — charge-only USB-C ports will not show a picture, and it does not work from USB-A ports. It drives one external monitor only. For charging you need your own 60–100 W USB-C charger — no power adapter is included, and about 15 W of the incoming power runs the hub itself. Does the Belkin INC024 hub work with a MacBook?
Yes. Belkin lists MacBook models with M1 to M4 chips as tested. You get one external monitor over HDMI at up to 4K 60 Hz, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, three 10 Gbps USB ports and the card readers. Base M1/M2 MacBooks support one external display anyway.
Can it run two monitors?
No. It has one HDMI output and Belkin specifies one extended monitor. For two or more screens choose a dual-display docking station.
Will it charge my laptop?
Yes, if you connect your own USB-C charger to the PD port. It passes up to 100 W, with about 15 W used by the hub, so a 100 W charger leaves roughly 85 W for the laptop. No charger is included.
What do I need to know before buying?
Your laptop’s USB-C port must carry video for the HDMI port to work. The 2.5 Gb Ethernet only runs at 2.5 Gbps when your switch or router supports it; otherwise it works at Gigabit. The Black version is a separate part, INC024HQBK.
