Belkin Connect Pro Keyboard Case — iPad Pro 11 (M4/M5), QWERTZ
Backlit QWERTZTrackpadMagnetic standBluetoothApple Pencil holder
The Belkin Connect Pro BBZ002DE-V2 is the version cut specifically for the iPad Pro 11-inch M4 and M5. Apple changed the chassis with the M4 generation, so the earlier -V1 case does not fit it — this is the one that does. Backlit QWERTZ keyboard, large click-anywhere trackpad, folio cover and a magnetic floating stand.
The keyboard is German QWERTZ — that is what the “de” in the part number means. Belkin sells the identical case with US QWERTY (“tt”) and UK QWERTY (“uk”) part numbers, so check the layout code before ordering if your users expect a different keyboard.
Compatibility — check before buying:
-V2 fits the iPad Pro 11-inch (M4) and iPad Pro 11-inch (M5) only. It does not fit the iPad Air or the 3rd and 4th generation iPad Pro 11 — those take BBZ002DE-V1, whose compatibility list does not overlap with this one at all. Belkin publishes no explanation of the suffix scheme; the fitment split is clear from comparing its own per-SKU compatibility lists.
Best For
✓Turning an iPad into a genuine writing and email machine rather than a tablet with a keyboard bolted on
✓Users who work in low light and want backlit keys
✓Anyone who wants a trackpad, so iPadOS behaves more like a laptop and less like a touchscreen
Key Features
Backlit keys and a click-anywhere trackpad
Full backlighting for low-light work, plus a large trackpad that clicks anywhere on its surface and supports iPadOS multi-touch gestures — three-finger swipes between apps, pinch to zoom, the lot.
Floating cantilever magnetic stand
The iPad floats above the keyboard on a magnetic cantilever rather than sitting in a tray, so you can set the viewing angle and still fold the whole thing flat. Landscape orientation.
Bluetooth, not Smart Connector
It pairs over Bluetooth and carries its own 600 mAh battery, quoted by Belkin at up to 365–540 days of standby. That means it works independently of the iPad’s Smart Connector pins.
Apple Pencil storage built in
A magnetic space holds an Apple Pencil on the case. Note this is storage only — the Pencil is not included and the case does not charge it.

Singular Expert Insight
If you are buying for a fleet with a mix of iPad generations, order by the exact iPad model rather than by screen size. “11-inch iPad Pro” covers at least four different chassis, and only the M4 and M5 take this case. The confusion is made worse by Belkin’s own FAQ, which merges every version’s compatibility into one list.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
Buy this if you have an iPad Pro 11-inch M4 or M5 and want a backlit German keyboard with a trackpad and a proper stand.
Skip it if
Skip it if your iPad is an Air or an older 11-inch Pro (take BBZ002DE-V1), if it is 12.9 or 13 inch (take BBZ003DE-V1), or if you need QWERTY.
