Bixolon GRC-220B Black Ribbon Cartridge for SRP-270 / SRP-275 Series
Genuine BixolonBlackImpact ribbon1 cartridge
The Bixolon GRC-220B is the original black ribbon cartridge for the Bixolon SRP-270 and SRP-275 series (SRP-275, SRP-275II, SRP-275III) impact printers — compact receipt and kitchen printers used in restaurants, bars and retail.
Bixolon lists the black cartridge as part KD02-00058B; the two-colour version for the same printers is the GRC-220BR (KD02-00058A).
Before you order: This is the black-only cartridge. If your kitchen prints anything in red, you need the black/red GRC-220BR instead — check the old cartridge before ordering.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Bixolon GRC-220B ribbon cartridge, black
- Bixolon packaging
What It Means in Practice
- Impact printing works on plain and two-ply paper, and kitchen tickets do not darken from heat the way thermal receipts do.
- Print fades gradually as the ink is used; change the cartridge when tickets turn grey rather than waiting for it to stop.
- A dried or torn ribbon makes the pins strike bare fabric, which wears the print head faster — a fresh genuine cartridge protects the printer.
- Keep a spare sealed cartridge at each printer for a quick swap during service.
What Will Not Work
- Thermal printers such as the Bixolon SRP-350 or SRP-330 — they use no ribbon.
- Red printing — use the GRC-220BR black/red cartridge.
- Epson TM-U220 or Star SP700 printers — different cartridges (ERC-38 / RC700).
- Re-inking or refilling — single-use sealed cassette.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The SRP-275 is a common budget kitchen printer, and the only real decision is black or black/red. If your tickets are black only, the GRC-220B is the one. Other ribbons are in our printer ribbons range.
✓ Buy it if you run a Bixolon SRP-270 or SRP-275 / 275II / 275III and print in black.
✕ Skip it if you need red printing (GRC-220BR) or your printer is thermal.
→ Also consider Bixolon GRC-220BR black/red for the same printers.
Not sure which one your printer takes? Send us the printer model from the label on its base or back and we will confirm the right ribbon cartridge before you order.
