The BIXOLON XT3-40/BEG is a 203 dpi industrial label printer for product, shipping and warehouse stations. It supports thermal transfer and direct thermal printing, with a 108 mm print width, 2.4-inch colour LCD and wired USB, USB Host, Ethernet and serial interfaces. This is the standard tear-bar configuration. Its metal case, folding door and side-loading path accommodate 203 mm rolls and ribbons up to 450 m.
Before you order:
Plan mains power, compatible software and appropriate media. Thermal transfer requires a matching ribbon; direct thermal needs heat-sensitive labels without ribbon. Media width can be 114 mm, but printed content must fit within 108 mm. Wireless, cutter, peeler and rewinder features require a different option/configuration.

What It Means in Practice
- For example, load a product-label roll and matching ribbon from the side, calibrate the sensor and send a barcode layout from a compatible warehouse application over Ethernet. Tear the printed label at the supplied bar. The application manages stock and order data.
- Large internal rolls and long ribbons reduce consumable changes. Twin function copies printer settings/data via USB to help configure another compatible station; confirm application emulation before replacing an existing printer.
What Will Not Work
- You need included wireless printing or automatic cutting, peeling or rewinding.
- Do not add a generic USB Wi-Fi/Bluetooth dongle; BIXOLON does not support that wireless arrangement.
