The Brennenstuhl JARO 1060 P (part number 1171250142) is a 10 W LED floodlight with a built-in infrared (PIR) motion detector that delivers 1150 lumens of cool daylight at 6500 K from a black metal IP65 housing. It is made for wall mounting outdoors — entrances, driveways, yards, garages and side passages — where you want light to switch on by itself when someone approaches and switch off again after a set time. It is the right choice for homeowners and facility managers who want a compact, robust security light on a fixed 230 V connection.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a fixed-wired 230 V light, not a plug-in lamp. It comes without a mains cable and without a plug, and connects through the supplied IP68 cable gland to an existing outdoor supply (protection class I — it needs an earth). Installation should be done by a qualified electrician. The LEDs are built in and cannot be replaced. Don’t confuse it with the JARO 1060 without “P”, which has no motion detector. Can I plug it into a socket?
No. The JARO 1060 P has no cable and no plug; it is designed for a fixed 230 V connection through its IP68 cable gland and needs an earth, so have an electrician install it.
How far does the motion sensor see?
Up to 10 m across a 180° arc. You can rotate the sensor head by 90° and set how long the light stays on, from about 10 seconds to 5 minutes.
Will it switch on during the day?
Not if you set the twilight (LUX) control: it lets the detector react only when it is dark enough, so the light stays off in daylight even when someone walks past.
What is the difference to the JARO 1060?
The JARO 1060 is the same floodlight without the PIR motion detector, for lights that are switched manually or by a timer. The “P” in JARO 1060 P stands for the built-in motion sensor.
