Brennenstuhl US Type B to E/F Travel Adapter

Type B (US 3-pin)Type E/F earthedIndoor IP20

Connect an American Type B three-pin appliance plug to an earthed Type E/F wall socket. The 1508520 changes the physical plug connection for compatible equipment; it does not make a 110V-only appliance suitable for a 230V supply.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Fits Type B (US 3-pin) appliance plugs and Type E/F earthed wall sockets, in that direction only. Check the appliance voltage and frequency rating against the destination mains supply; this adapter converts neither. Use within the 15A / 250V maximum rating and applicable local limits. A country's name alone does not guarantee every socket matches.

Key Features

Clearly defined connection
The appliance-facing socket accepts Type B (US 3-pin); the wall-facing plug fits Type E/F earthed. This is not a universal or reversible travel adapter.

Contact shutters
Plastic shutters cover the socket contacts to provide increased protection against accidental contact.

Matt black housing
The housing contains at least 20% recycled plastic. The compact adapter has no on/off switch or energy meter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use a US 110V-only appliance on 230V with it?
No. It adapts Type B plugs to E/F sockets without voltage conversion. The appliance must already support the supply voltage and frequency.
Does it provide an on/off switch?
No. This version has neither an on/off switch nor a hand/foot switch.
Can I choose it just by the country name?
Check the physical socket type as well. The manufacturer notes that individual countries can use several plug systems.
Singular Expert Insight
For equipment brought from the USA or Japan, check its input-voltage label before choosing the adapter. A dual-voltage device and a 110V-only device need different power planning even if their plugs look alike. Check your appliance and destination plug requirements

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

Your appliance has a Type B (US 3-pin) plug and your destination wall socket is Type E/F earthed, with compatible mains ratings.

Skip it if

You need the opposite plug direction, voltage conversion or outdoor protection.

Also consider

A correctly rated voltage converter only when the appliance itself does not support the destination supply; verify the full electrical requirement first.
