Frequently Asked Questions

Does it fax or have an ADF?
No. It is a 3-in-1 (print, copy, scan) with a flatbed scanner and no ADF. For an ADF choose the DCP-L3560CDW, and for fax an MFC colour laser.
Does it have wired Ethernet?
No. This model connects over USB and Wi-Fi / Wi-Fi Direct only. For Gigabit Ethernet, choose the DCP-L3560CDW.
What is the difference from the DCP-L3520CDWE?
The hardware is identical. The "E" version is EcoPro subscription-ready (set up for Brother's automatic toner delivery service where offered).
Which toners does it use?
EU TN-248 standard and TN-248XL high-yield individual toners with the DR-248CL drum. Higher-yield toners lower the cost per page.
