The Brother LT-360CL is a genuine 520-sheet optional lower paper tray for Brother colour laser printers such as the HL-L8570CDW and MFC-L8970CDW, built for offices that are tired of refilling paper several times a day.
It sits under the printer and adds a second (or third) paper source, so you can keep a full ream plus extra loaded, or dedicate one tray to plain A4 and another to letterhead or a different stock.
Before you order: Brother lists the LT-360CL for the HL-L8430CDW / HL-L8570CDW and MFC-L8970CDW generation. It does not fit the older HL-L8260CDW / HL-L8360CDW / MFC-L8690CDW / MFC-L8900CDW models or the HL-L9xxx / MFC-L9xxx series.

What It Means in Practice
- Up to 520 sheets of 80 g/m² plain paper — roughly a full ream plus extra, so a busy small office refills far less often.
- Supported sizes: A4, Letter, B5 (JIS), A5, B6 (JIS), Executive, Legal, Mexico Legal, India Legal, Folio, 16K (195 × 270 mm) and A4 Short (270 mm).
- Paper weight range 60–105 g/m² — ordinary office paper and slightly heavier stock, not card.
- You can install up to two LT-360CL trays, two LT-350CL trays, or one of each, depending on how much capacity you need.
- Once fitted and set in the printer driver, the tray becomes selectable as a separate source, which is useful for keeping two paper types loaded.
What Will Not Work
- Older Brother colour lasers (HL-L8260CDW, HL-L8360CDW, MFC-L8690CDW, MFC-L8900CDW) — they use a different tray generation.
- HL-L9xxx / MFC-L9xxx series — those take LT-330CL / LT-340CL trays.
- Heavy card, envelopes or very thick media — use the printer's manual/multi-purpose feed for those.
- Brother mono lasers (HL-L5xxx / HL-L6xxx families) — they use the LT-5505 / LT-6505 trays.
