The Brother TD-2125N is a compact 2-inch desktop direct thermal printer with 203 dpi resolution that prints labels, receipts, tags and wristbands up to 63 mm wide at up to 152.4 mm/s, connected via USB, wired LAN or USB host. It is built for retail shelf and price labels, pharmacies, healthcare, food prep and warehouse workstations.

ZPL II and CPCL compatibility lets it replace existing 2-inch printers in many business systems without rewriting label templates.

Before you order: This is direct thermal only: use direct-thermal labels or receipt paper — there is no ribbon option. The serial (RS-232) connection needs the optional PA-SCA-001 cable.

What It Means in Practice

  • Connect it to the LAN and share it between POS terminals or office PCs, or plug in by USB for a single workstation.

  • The USB host port accepts a barcode scanner or keyboard for standalone template printing.
  • Media from 19 to 63 mm wide on rolls up to 127 mm diameter (25.4 mm core) covers most 2-inch labels.
  • Add the optional PA-TDU-001 touch panel for printing without a PC.

  • Thermal transfer printing with ribbons — direct thermal media only.
  • Labels wider than 63 mm (print width up to 56 mm).
  • Wi-Fi or Bluetooth — this N model has USB and wired LAN only.
  • Colour printing.
