The Chillax CB210 is a DECT digital audio baby monitor from Chillax (Atlinks Europe) with a mains-powered baby unit and a rechargeable parent unit that reaches up to 340 m in open field — made for parents who want clear, interference-free sound monitoring without a camera, an app or Wi-Fi in the nursery.

It is the simplest model in the Chillax audio range and deliberately so. A five-LED sound bar on the parent unit shows activity even when the speaker is turned down, VOX keeps the parent unit quiet until your baby actually makes a sound, and talk-back lets you reassure your child from another room. The baby unit adds a three-level night light and five lullabies, so it doubles as a bedtime companion.

Because the two units talk to each other directly over DECT, there is nothing to set up on your home network and nothing leaves your house. That makes the CB210 a good fit for grandparents, for a second home, or simply for parents who prefer sound over video.

• Range: 340 m is the open-field figure. Indoors Chillax rates up to 50 m, and concrete floors or thick stone walls reduce this further — check the link from the rooms you use most before relying on it.
• Battery: up to 13 hours on the parent unit depends on the starting charge and on how often the speaker is active. Put it on charge overnight or whenever you are in the same room as your baby.
• Silent watching: turn the parent speaker off and follow the 5-LED sound bar — useful while you are watching TV, on a call or have guests.
• Silent-lullaby mode: lullabies play at the baby unit while the parent unit stays quiet, so you are not listening to the music yourself.
• Two listeners: the system supports up to two parent units, so both parents can listen at the same time (the second parent unit is not in the box).

• No video, no app and no remote listening over the internet — this is a local radio link between the two units only.
• No temperature reading and no temperature alarm (those are on the CB260 and CB360).
• The baby unit has no battery. It must stay plugged in, so it cannot follow you to the garden or a room without a free socket.
• It is not designed to pair with DECT cordless phones, other brands of baby monitor or the US DECT 6.0 Chillax models.
