Cisco Headset 722 — dual-ear Bluetooth headset for Webex, supplied with the charging stand and travel case

Up to 23 hours talk timeUp to 65 m Bluetooth rangeCharging stand in the boxCertified for Cisco Webex

The Cisco Headset 722 (HS-WL-722-BUNAS-C) is a dual-ear Bluetooth office headset from the Cisco Headset 720 Series, finished in carbon black and supplied as the bundle that includes the desk charging stand. It pairs over Bluetooth 5.0 and reaches up to 65 m from the adapter, which is a long way for Bluetooth, and the battery runs to 23 hours of talking or 45 hours of listening; ten minutes on the stand returns about two hours of talk time. Two MEMS beamforming microphones covering 80 Hz to 6.8 kHz use voice activation to mute the background when you are not speaking, and a call-presence light doubles as a manual do-not-disturb indicator for the people around you.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the Webex article, not the Microsoft Teams one. Cisco splits the 720 Series by platform: the codes with a Q — HS-WL-722Q — are the Microsoft Teams certified versions. Crucially, the Teams codes ship without the charging stand, so you cannot have Teams certification and the bundled stand in one part number; the stand would be added separately as HS-WL-720-DSKCH-A=. Read the letters before the colour code. BUNA is the base bundle with a travel case, USB adapter and USB-A cable; BUNAS is the same bundle plus the charging stand, which is what you are buying here. The final C is the carbon black finish. There is no active noise cancellation published for the 720 Series — the noise work is on the microphones, for your callers. And note that shipments from March 2025 onward include a USB-C adapter with a USB-A converter in place of the older plain USB-A adapter.

Best For

✓ Cisco Webex sites that want a certified headset
✓ Desks that want the headset to live on a charging stand
✓ Users who roam further than typical Bluetooth allows
✓ Long call shifts — 23 hours of talk and a 10-minute quick charge
✓ People who want both ears covered in an open-plan room
✓ Teams that want a visible do-not-disturb light
✓ Offices already standardised on Cisco collaboration hardware
✓ Hot-desking, where the travel case matters as much as the headset

Key Features

Built for Webex
The 720 Series is certified for Cisco Webex, and this code is the Webex build. Call control, mute and the presence light behave the way the Webex client expects rather than as a generic Bluetooth device.

A charging stand in the box
BUNAS is the bundle that includes the desk charging stand, so the headset has somewhere to live between calls. Ten minutes on it returns roughly two hours of talk time, and a full charge takes 2.2 hours.

Two beamforming microphones
Two MEMS beamforming microphones covering 80 Hz to 6.8 kHz, with voice activation that mutes the noise around you when you are not actually speaking. The result is a caller who hears you and not your office.

Range you can walk with
Up to 65 m from the adapter. That is further than most Bluetooth headsets manage and it is the difference between being tethered to the desk and taking a call while you fetch something.

Frequently Asked Questions

We run Microsoft Teams. Can I use this?
It will work as a Bluetooth audio device, but it is not the Teams certified article. Cisco puts a Q in the part number for the Teams versions — HS-WL-722Q-BUNA-C — and those bundles do not include the charging stand. If you need both, the stand is ordered separately as HS-WL-720-DSKCH-A=.
What does the S in BUNAS mean?
Stand. BUNA is the base bundle with the travel case, USB adapter and USB-A cable; BUNAS adds the desk charging stand. It is not a region code, which is the usual assumption. The trailing C is the carbon black finish.
Does it cancel noise for me?
Cisco does not publish active noise cancellation for the 720 Series. The two beamforming microphones with voice activation work on the transmit side, so callers hear you rather than your office. The Cisco Headset 730 is the model with ANC.
What is the difference between the 721 and the 722?
Ear count and weight, and nothing else. The 721 is single-ear at 120 g and the 722 covers both ears at 168 g. Bluetooth, range, battery, microphones and warranty are identical, so pick by how much of the room your people need to hear.
Singular Expert Insight
Two letters decide what arrives in the box on this range, and both are easy to miss on a quotation. BUNAS includes the desk charging stand and BUNA does not, and a Q before the bundle code means the Microsoft Teams build — which never ships with the stand. That combination catches people out: a Teams site that wants headsets on cradles has to order the stands as a separate line. If your platform is Webex, this code is the complete answer and the whole range sits in Office & VoIP Headsets. The other thing worth saying plainly is that this is not a noise-cancelling headset. Cisco publishes ANC only on the Headset 730, so if someone is buying to block out an open-plan floor, this is the wrong model and we will point you at one that states hybrid or adaptive ANC. Send us your platform and your desk count and we will get the bundle codes right first time. Personal listening away from calls belongs in Headphones instead.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

Your site runs Cisco Webex, you want a certified headset that comes with its own charging stand and travel case, and you value range and battery over noise cancellation. Twenty-three hours of talk, 65 m of reach, and two hours back from a ten-minute charge.

Skip it if

Your platform is Microsoft Teams — the Q codes are the certified ones and they come without the stand. Skip it too if you need active noise cancellation, which Cisco does not publish for the 720 Series, or if you need a 3.5 mm connection.

Also consider

Cisco Headset 721 if one ear should stay free. The HS-WL-722Q-BUNA-C bundle for a Microsoft Teams site, remembering it has no stand. Cisco Headset 730 if active noise cancellation is the requirement. Jabra Evolve2 75 or EPOS IMPACT 1060T ANC as ANC alternatives from other makers.
