The Cisco CS-MIC-CLGP-DMK= is the drop ceiling grid mount kit for the Cisco Ceiling Microphone Pro, used to install the microphone in a suspended (grid) ceiling of a Webex meeting room. It is for integrators and IT teams fitting out conference rooms where the microphone should sit in the ceiling grid rather than hang on wires or be fixed to a solid ceiling.
Cisco sells all mounting options for the Ceiling Microphone Pro separately from the microphone itself, so every installation needs one of three kits: this drop ceiling grid kit, the wire hanging kit or the ceiling bracket kit. The equals sign at the end of the part number is Cisco notation for a spare or separately ordered accessory. The microphone, its network cable and the codec are not part of this kit.
Before you order: This kit is for the Cisco Ceiling Microphone Pro only (CS-MIC-CLGPRO Arctic White and CS-MIC-CLGPRO-C Carbon Black). It does not fit the earlier Cisco Ceiling Microphone. Send us your microphone part number if you are not sure which one you have.

What It Means in Practice
- The Ceiling Microphone Pro (42 × 42 cm, 4.8 cm high) is installed in the ceiling grid, so the table stays clear and the microphone covers the room from above.
- You choose the mount per room: grid ceiling uses this kit, solid ceilings use the bracket kit, high or open ceilings use the wire hanging kit.
- The microphone connects with one PoE Ethernet cable (PoE Class 2). In a plenum space Cisco recommends its plenum-rated CAT5e cable, sold separately.
- If you are fitting several rooms, order one kit per microphone.
What Will Not Work
- It will not mount the original Cisco Ceiling Microphone or third-party ceiling microphones.
- It is not a complete microphone: the Ceiling Microphone Pro must be ordered separately.
- It does not include the Ethernet cable or a PoE switch port; the microphone needs both.
- The microphone itself only works with supported Cisco room devices on RoomOS 11.24 or later, such as Room Bar, Room Bar Pro, Room Kit EQ/EQX, Room Kit Pro and Board Pro.

Ceiling microphones are installed once and then forgotten, so getting the mount right matters more than any setting. Check the ceiling type in each room before ordering, because the three Cisco kits are not interchangeable. The microphone runs on PoE, so make sure the room has a free PoE port on one of our network switches or the codec network.
