The Cisco Room Kit EQ Vision PTZ (CS-KIT-EQ-Z-K9) is a video conferencing kit that pairs the Cisco Codec EQ with the Cisco Room Vision PTZ 4K camera (12x optical zoom, AI presenter tracking) and a table-stand Room Navigator, built for training rooms, lecture spaces and boardrooms where the camera has to follow a presenter.
The Room Vision PTZ connects to the codec with a single PoE+ network cable that carries power, video and control, pans ±170° and tilts -25° to +90°, and frames people with AI head detection. Important: this kit has no microphones and no speakers — the room's audio is planned separately with Cisco IP microphones and the display or external speakers.
Before you order: Audio is NOT included: add Cisco Table or Ceiling Mic Pro (or analog microphones) and use the display's or external speakers. Displays and the platform licence (Cisco registration or Microsoft Teams Rooms) are also not included. The camera requires RoomOS 11.31 or later.

What It Means in Practice
- AI PresenterTrack follows a presenter walking at the front of the room after a short setup wizard; presets let you jump to fixed positions such as a whiteboard or lectern.
- With 12x optical zoom the camera can sit at the back of a large room and still deliver a sharp close-up.
- One PoE+ cable from the codec powers and connects the camera; HDMI 2.0 is available as an alternative video path.
- The Codec EQ drives up to three screens in RoomOS and powers the Navigator and IP microphones from its PoE++ ports.
What Will Not Work
- The kit cannot run a call without added microphones and speakers.
- Speaker tracking with this camera needs Cisco IP microphones and is listed by Cisco as coming soon.
- Native Zoom Rooms is not supported; Teams Rooms mode is cloud-only and limited to two screens.
- Do not confuse it with the Room Kit EQ PTZ 4K (CS-KIT-EQ-4K-K9), which uses Cisco's older PTZ 4K camera.
