The Cisco Room Kit EQ (CS-KIT-EQ-C-K9) is a modular video conferencing kit for large meeting rooms and boardrooms that combines the Cisco Codec EQ, the Carbon Black Cisco Quad Camera with four 20 MP sensors and an 8-microphone array, and a table-stand Cisco Room Navigator touch controller.

Unlike an all-in-one bar, the codec sits separately (behind the screen, in a rack or on a shelf) and the camera mounts above or below the display. That makes it the starting point for bigger rooms: the Codec EQ drives up to three screens, powers cameras, the Navigator and up to eight Cisco IP microphones from its four PoE++ ports, and runs either Cisco RoomOS with native Webex or Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android.

• The Quad Camera combines a wide lens with tele lenses, so speaker tracking can cut to a close-up of the person talking at the far end of a long table; Cisco recommends the furthest person within about 9 m.
• Three HDMI outputs in RoomOS mean people, content and a presenter view on separate screens; in Teams Rooms mode you get two.
• The four PoE++ ports power the Navigator and extra Cisco IP ceiling or table microphones directly from the codec.
• A visitor's laptop on USB-C can use the room's camera, microphones and speakers in any meeting app (BYOD mode).

• It is not a USB webcam for a desk PC.
• Native Zoom Rooms is not supported — Zoom meetings are joined via SIP in RoomOS mode.
• Teams Rooms mode is cloud-only, limited to two screens and has no web apps or digital signage.
• Displays, licences and a codec power cord (if not supplied in your region) must be added separately.
