Club 3D CAC-1130-A Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI-D Active Adapter, HDCP OFF, 60 cm

Mini DisplayPort male + USB-A → DVI-D female2560 × 1440 @ 60 Hz60 cm

The CAC-1130-A lets you keep using Apple Cinema and other non-HDCP DVI displays with a Mini DisplayPort graphics output. Its active conversion provides a genuine dual-link DVI connection rather than relying on connector shape alone. Connect the USB-A power lead as well as the video plug, and check your display’s required DVI mode before choosing this HDCP OFF version.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the ports, video mode and available bandwidth at both devices. Listed features require support from the source and display.

Key Features

Choose the HDCP version
HDCP OFF is intended for displays that do not support HDCP; it is not a protected-content bypass.

Active dual-link conversion
Dual-link and single-link video modes have different limits. Use a suitable DVI cable and a screen that accepts the selected resolution.

USB-assisted power
The USB-A lead supplies power; the picture comes from the Mini DisplayPort output.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a USB-A plug?
It is the power connection for active conversion. Connect it together with Mini DisplayPort; it is not a USB video adapter.
Is this the correct version for my DVI monitor?
Check whether the screen lacks HDCP. This OFF model targets those displays, including suitable Apple Cinema models; use the ON variant when the screen requires HDCP.
What if an older monitor shows green lines or noise?
Club 3D suggests a custom lower refresh rate; 55 Hz resolves this for many users. It is troubleshooting guidance, not a guarantee for every display.
