Club 3D CAC-1010 DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI-D Active Adapter, HDCP ON, 60 cm

DisplayPort male + USB-A → DVI-D female2560 × 1440 @ 60 Hz60 cm

The CAC-1010 lets you keep using HDCP-capable DVI displays with a DisplayPort graphics output. Its active conversion provides a genuine dual-link DVI connection rather than relying on connector shape alone. Connect the USB-A power lead as well as the video plug, and check your display’s required DVI mode before choosing this HDCP ON version.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the ports, video mode and available bandwidth at both devices. Listed features require support from the source and display.

Key Features

Choose the HDCP version
HDCP ON is intended for an HDCP-capable DVI display and a compatible protected-content chain.

Active dual-link conversion
Dual-link and single-link video modes have different limits. Use a suitable DVI cable and a screen that accepts the selected resolution.

USB-assisted power
The USB-A lead supplies power; the picture comes from the DisplayPort output.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is there a USB-A plug?
It is the power connection for active conversion. Connect it together with DisplayPort; it is not a USB video adapter.
Is this the correct version for my DVI monitor?
Check the monitor’s HDCP support. This ON version is for an HDCP-capable DVI display; a non-HDCP Apple Cinema screen may need the OFF variant.
What if an older monitor shows green lines or noise?
Check USB power, the dual-link cable and the display’s supported mode first. A physically fitting DVI connector does not prove that the whole link supports your chosen mode.
