DisplayPort male → DisplayPort male8K60 / 4K12020 m

The CAC-1079 is a 20 m active optical link for a DisplayPort screen far from its source. Its 4.8 mm hybrid cable suits a planned AV route without a separate power supply. Check the Source and Display labels before installation, and confirm DSC 1.2 plus suitable graphics drivers and display firmware for the high-resolution modes.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the ports, video mode and available bandwidth at both devices. Listed features require support from the source and display.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does this cable upgrade my screen’s resolution?
No. It carries supported modes between compatible devices; the source and screen determine which modes are available.
Why does an older system fail at 8K60?
The cable alone cannot provide the necessary GPU/display capabilities. Club 3D requires compatible DSC 1.2 equipment and suitable firmware/drivers for these high modes.
