Club 3D CAC-1335 Active HDMI to DisplayPort Adapter, Up to 4K120Hz / 8K30Hz, USB-A Powered, Black

HDMI source → DP displayUp to 4K120Hz / 8K30HzUSB-A / 5V 1.5A

CAC-1335 connects an HDMI source to a DisplayPort monitor through active, one-way conversion. Club 3D lists up to 3840×2160 at 120Hz or 7680×4320 at 30Hz on compatible source/display combinations. The attached USB-A lead supplies power; a DisplayPort display cable is separate. Choose it when the source is HDMI and the monitor input is DisplayPort, checking the exact video mode at both ends.

Compatibility — check before buying:
One-way HDMI source to DisplayPort display; suitable USB-A power is required.

Key Features

Direction matters
An HDMI male input and DisplayPort female output convert HDMI to DP. This adapter cannot turn a DisplayPort computer output into an HDMI monitor connection.

Video modes with their conditions
The exact datasheet lists 4K120Hz, 8K30Hz, HDR, HDCP 2.2, ultrawide resolutions and two-channel DP audio. The host and display must support the intended mode; adapter support does not create a missing source capability.

Power before troubleshooting
Connect the attached USB-A lead to a suitable powered port or USB supply providing 5V/1.5A. HDMI connection alone is not the specified power arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use it in the opposite direction?
No. CAC-1335 works from an HDMI source to a DisplayPort display. Choose a different verified adapter for DisplayPort-to-HDMI.
Is a USB lead optional?
No. The adapter requires USB-A bus power rated 7.5W (5V/1.5A). Connect the attached lead to a suitable powered USB port or supply.
Will every HDMI device output 4K at 120Hz?
No. The adapter uses the source’s video capability. Confirm source output, monitor support and DisplayPort cable capability for the desired resolution and refresh rate.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose CAC-1335 for an HDMI-only source feeding a DisplayPort monitor. Verify direction first, then the video mode and USB power; compare a simpler native cable when both devices share a connector. Compare audio and video connections

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

Your source outputs HDMI and your display accepts DisplayPort.

Skip it if

You need DisplayPort-to-HDMI conversion or cannot supply USB power.

Also consider
