The Conceptronic ABBY15PC01 is a DC to USB-C PD adapter with a 4.5 x 3.0 mm DC plug: it goes into the round DC power jack of a laptop and lets you power and charge that laptop from a USB-C Power Delivery charger, up to 100 W (PD 3.0, 20 V / 5 A).
It is meant for HP laptops with a 4.5 x 3.0 mm DC jack: one USB-C charger (or a USB-C PD power bank) can then serve an older barrel-jack laptop as well as your phone and tablet — fewer bricks in the bag.
Before you order: Designed for 18–20 V DC laptops. Check the label under your laptop or on its original charger: the DC plug must be 4.5 x 3.0 mm and the input 18–20 V. Laptops rated 19.5 V are common — Conceptronic does not publish a compatibility list, so send us the model and we will check.

What It Means in Practice
- You need a USB-C PD charger that offers a 20 V profile; its wattage should be at least that of the original laptop charger, otherwise the laptop may charge slowly or only run.
- Up to 100 W: covers most office laptops whose original chargers are 45–90 W.
- Compact angled block (30 x 30 x 6 mm, about 5 g): the USB-C cable leaves the laptop at a right angle.
What Will Not Work
- Laptops that need more than 100 W (gaming and workstation models with 120–240 W bricks) will not run at full power.
- Not for laptops with a different DC plug size or a non-18–20 V input; a wrong plug may not fit or may not make reliable contact.
- Not a charger: no power supply is included, and a USB-C charger without a 20 V PD profile (e.g. a 5 V phone charger) will not power the laptop.
- Do not order it by mistake instead of ABBY15PC02 (the Dell 4.5 x 3.0 mm version).
