Conceptronic AMDIS08B — 4K Ultra HD Wide Angle Webcam
3840 x 2160 at 30 fps1080p at 60 fps120° wide lensAutofocus
The AMDIS08B is the wide-angle version of Conceptronic’s 4K webcam. An 8.3 megapixel sensor on a 1/3.06 inch die gives 3840 x 2160 at 30 frames per second or Full HD at 60, and a 120 degree lens takes in a boardroom table rather than a single face. Two noise-reduction microphones, a privacy cover and a USB-C adapter are included, and the base pans and tilts through 360 degrees.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Two points shape what you get. The interface is USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps, so 4K at 30 fps is necessarily heavily compressed — plug it directly into the computer rather than into a shared hub, and treat 1080p at 60 fps as the mode that will look best in practice. Second, 120 degrees is very wide: it is the right lens for a group around a table and the wrong one for a home office where you would rather the room stayed out of shot. The near-identical AMDIS07B is the same camera with an 80 degree lens, and that is the only meaningful difference between them. Note also that Conceptronic publishes no IR cut filter and no warranty term, and there is no Windows Hello — the AMDIS09B is the Conceptronic model with face sign-in, and it is 1080p and fixed focus.
Best For
✓ Boardrooms and meeting tables where several people share one camera
✓ Group calls that need everyone in frame without moving the camera
✓ Recording a workspace, a bench or a whiteboard as well as a face
✓ Machines with either USB-A or USB-C — the adapter is supplied
✓ Warm or cold rooms — rated from 5 to 60 degrees C
Key Features
120 degrees fits the table
A 15.9 megapixel-rated lens at f = 2.26 mm across a 120 degree angle of view. Three or four people at a table are all in shot without anyone leaning in.
4K at 30 or Full HD at 60
Conceptronic publishes both: 3840 x 2160 at 30 fps for detail and 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps for smooth motion. Pick by whether the meeting needs resolution or fluidity.
Autofocus, not fixed focal
An 8.3 megapixel 1/3.06 inch sensor behind an autofocus lens, so it stays sharp as people move around the table rather than settling on one plane.
Cover, adapter and full rotation
A privacy cover and a USB-C adapter ship in the box, the mount pans and tilts through 360 degrees, and two noise-reduction microphones handle the audio.

Singular Expert Insight
Conceptronic sells the 07B and the 08B as a pair split by one number, and choosing between them is genuinely the whole decision: 80 degrees or 120. At 120 this is a meeting-room camera at a desk-camera price, and the autofocus matters more here than it does on the narrow model, because people at a table sit at different distances. The honest limit is bandwidth: USB 2.0 cannot carry uncompressed 4K, so give it a direct port rather than a shared USB hub and use 1080p60 for calls. It has no speaker and no microphone array, so a table of four will still want a speakerphone.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need everyone at a table in frame, in 4K, with autofocus and a cover and adapter included.
Skip it if
Skip it if you work alone and want the room out of shot, if you need Windows Hello, or if a published warranty term matters.
Also consider
Conceptronic AMDIS07B for the identical camera with an 80 degree lens, or a conference camera with a microphone array and speaker if the room needs audio too.
