The Conceptronic LBA01 is a desk mount security anchor: a zinc-alloy tether point that you fix to a desk, counter or wall, so a laptop lock cable has something solid to loop through. It mounts either with the 3M adhesive pad or with the two screws in the box, measures 52 × 46.6 × 33 mm and weighs 70 g. In practice it solves the most common problem with cable locks — a desk with no leg, frame or rail to wrap the cable around — on modern tables, reception counters, school desks and shop displays.
Compatibility — check before buying:
The LBA01 is an anchor point, not a lock: you still need a laptop cable lock with a loop end, and the lock head must match your device’s slot. Standard slot (about 3 × 7 mm, often called a K-Slot), the smaller Nano slot and the tapered Wedge slot (3.2 × 4.5 mm) are three different shapes, and a lock head fits only one of them. Conceptronic states it works with all standard laptop security cables that pass through the anchor. For real security use the two screws into a solid surface; the adhesive pad is quicker but only as strong as the bond and the surface. Not sure your cable fits?
