The HP 72 C9380A is the genuine HP DesignJet printhead for the grey and photo black inks, used in the HP DesignJet T770, T790, T795 and T1300 large-format printers.
Each HP 72 printhead serves two colours; a full set is three heads. C9380A handles grey and photo black, so when photo-black areas or neutral greys show banding or missing nozzles that cleaning cannot recover, this is the head to replace — not the whole set.
Before you order: The HP 72 family has three printheads: C9380A (grey + photo black), C9383A (magenta + cyan) and C9384A (matte black + yellow). Check which colours the printer reports before ordering. HP 72 ink cartridges are separate products.

- It will not fix paper feed or cutter faults.
