The CORSAIR Elite Premium ATX 24-pin cable (CP-8920448) is an individually sleeved, 610 mm replacement motherboard power cable for CORSAIR power supplies that use Type 5 modular cables. Each wire is wrapped in flexible triple-layer mesh paracord sleeving for a tidy, uniform look through a glass side panel. It is a cable for CORSAIR power supplies only — check your PSU’s cable Type before ordering.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a CORSAIR Type 5 cable. Type 5 was created for CORSAIR’s SHIFT series and is also used by the SF-L and updated SF series. It does not fit Type 3 or Type 4 PSUs — including most RMe, RMx (non-SHIFT) and CX units, and the RM850e / RM1000e with ThermalProtect we list, which are Type 4. Never use it on another brand’s power supply — modular pinouts are not standard and the wrong cable can destroy components. Check the Type printed on your PSU label or send us the model.

Will this fit my CORSAIR power supply?
Only if your PSU uses Type 5 cables — the SHIFT series, SF-L or updated SF. It will not fit Type 3 or Type 4 units. The Type is printed on the PSU label; send us the model and we confirm.
Can I use it with another brand of power supply?
No. Modular cable pinouts are not standardised on the PSU side. CORSAIR warns that using its cables on another brand can be dangerous — the wrong cable can destroy components.
