Xerox 106R02229 Cyan Toner Cartridge — High Capacity, 6,000 Pages, for Phaser 6600 / WorkCentre 6605

Genuine Xerox toner6,000 pagesPhaser 6600 / WorkCentre 6605High Capacity

The Xerox 106R02229 is the genuine high capacity cyan toner cartridge for the Xerox Phaser 6600 printer and WorkCentre 6605 colour multifunction, rated for 6,000 pages to ISO/IEC 19798. It holds three times the toner of the standard cyan cartridge for the same machines, so it is the sensible choice for any workgroup printing colour with regularity. Order it by part number 106R02229. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This cartridge fits the Phaser 6600 / WorkCentre 6605 only — it is not compatible with the VersaLink C400, C405, C410 or C415, which use their own cartridge ranges. ⚠ This platform has three parallel regional cartridge series, which is unusually confusing. The European series is 106R02229 to 106R02232 (high capacity) and 106R02245 to 106R02248 (standard). North America uses 106R02225 to 106R02228 and 106R02241 to 106R02244, and Poland and parts of Eastern Europe use a third series, 106R02233 to 106R02236. The cartridges are equivalent but the numbers do not cross-map — order by the number printed on your existing cartridge. Note also that the imaging unit 108R01121 is a set of four units rather than a single drum, and on Cyprus installations the fuser is the 220 V 115R00077, never the 110 V 115R00076.

Best For

✓ Phaser 6600 / WorkCentre 6605 users printing colour regularly
✓ Offices that want fewer cartridge changes
✓ Sites looking to lower the cost per page
✓ Anyone matching an existing genuine Xerox cartridge

Key Features

6,000 pages of cyan
Three times the 2,000-page standard cyan cartridge for the same machines, which cuts both the cost per colour page and how often you are opening the machine.

Measured to ISO/IEC 19798
Xerox declares the yield to ISO/IEC 19798 at 5% page coverage, so the figure is directly comparable against other manufacturers rather than being a marketing number.

Genuine Xerox consistency
Xerox controls pigment and particle size so the colour renders the same from cartridge to cartridge — important if you print branded material that has to match earlier runs.

Matched to this print engine
Toner formulation and fusing behaviour are tuned to this specific engine, which is what keeps text crisp and solid areas even on ordinary office paper.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Xerox 106R02229 work with my printer?
It works with the Xerox Phaser 6600 printer and WorkCentre 6605 colour multifunction. It does not fit the VersaLink C400, C405, C410 or C415, which use their own cartridge ranges.
How many pages will I get?
6,000 pages measured to ISO/IEC 19798 at 5% coverage. Pages with large blocks of colour or photographs will use more toner per sheet and give fewer.
Why do I see different part numbers for the same cartridge?
Because Xerox runs three parallel regional series for this platform: 106R0222x/0224x in Europe, 106R0222x (a different block) in North America, and 106R0223x in Poland and parts of Eastern Europe. They are equivalent cartridges with different numbers. The safest approach is to order by the number printed on the cartridge you are replacing.
What else do I need to keep this machine running?
Three things beyond toner: the imaging unit kit 108R01121 — which is a set of four units, one per colour, at 60,000 pages each — the transfer unit kit 108R01122 (100,000 pages) and the waste cartridge 108R01124 (30,000 pages). If a fuser is due on a Cyprus machine, order the 220 V 115R00077.
Singular Expert Insight
The Phaser 6600 and WorkCentre 6605 are legacy machines whose main practical hazard is part-number confusion rather than anything mechanical: Xerox ran three regional cartridge series for this platform, so reseller listings frequently show a number that is correct somewhere but not here. Read your existing cartridge and order that. Two other things worth knowing: the imaging unit 108R01121 is a box of four units rather than one drum despite the singular European name, and the 30,000-page waste cartridge 108R01124 is usually what stops these machines without warning. Browse our Original Toner range for the matching cartridges and other capacities, or our Colour Laser Printers category if the machine itself is coming up for review.

You run a Phaser 6600 or WorkCentre 6605 printing colour regularly and want the genuine high-capacity cyan cartridge from the European series.

Your existing cartridge carries a number from the North American (106R0222x/0224x) or Eastern European (106R0223x) series, or your machine is a VersaLink C400, C405, C410 or C415.
