D-Link DUB-1312 USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet Adapter
Gigabit EthernetUSB 3.0 Type-ABus poweredPlug and play
The D-Link DUB-1312 is a USB 3.0 Gigabit Ethernet adapter that adds a 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port to a notebook or desktop through a USB Type-A port. It is meant for ultrabooks without a network socket, for replacing a faulty on-board port, or for adding a second wired interface to a PC.
It is powered from the USB port, needs no external power adapter, and supports suspend mode and remote wakeup to save energy. Two LEDs show speed (orange) and link/activity (green). On Windows the driver installs automatically when the adapter is plugged in.
Before you order: Gigabit speed needs a USB 3.0 port. On USB 2.0 the adapter still works, but throughput is limited by the USB link. D-Link's published OS list was written for earlier Windows and macOS releases — ask us if you run a very new or unusual OS.

Why is my speed below Gigabit?
Check that it is plugged into a USB 3.0 port (usually blue or marked SS) and that your switch or router port is Gigabit.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The DUB-1312 is a dependable, bus-powered way to get Gigabit on a USB-A computer. For USB-C laptops, or where charging pass-through matters, look at the USB-C models in our
network adapters range.
✓ Buy it if you need wired Gigabit on a laptop or PC with a free USB 3.0 Type-A port.
✕ Skip it if your computer has only USB-C ports or you need 2.5GbE.
→ Also consider HP 4Z7Z7AA (USB-A Gigabit with PXE and MAC pass-through) or Conceptronic ABBY12G for 2.5GbE.
Not sure it fits your setup? Send us the model of your laptop, PC or console and the switch or router it will connect to, and we will check compatibility before you order.
