The Datalogic CAB-512 is a coiled RS-232 cable, 25-pin male, 12 ft (3.6 m), that connects PowerScan 9100 series and PowerScan 9501 (PD9531-DPM) scanners to Datalogic's CBX800 industrial connection box. Datalogic's description is "Cable, RS-232, 25P, Male, CBX800 Power Off Terminal, Coiled, 12 ft".
"Power off terminal" means the scanner is powered through the cable from the CBX800, so no separate scanner power supply is needed.
Before you order: This cable is for the CBX800 connection box. If your setup needs the scanner powered from an external supply instead, Datalogic's external-power version is CAB-509 — do not order CAB-512 by mistake.
