The black Heron HD3130-BK is a corded linear imager for a customer-facing checkout. It combines a 2500-pixel CCD engine, configurable light and sound feedback and Datalogic Green Spot confirmation. The stand is included; the host interface cable must be selected separately.

Before you order:
HD3130-BK is not the BKK1B USB kit. Choose the correct USB, RS232 or keyboard-wedge cable for your POS before ordering. It reads 1D codes, not QR or Data Matrix.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is a USB cable included?
No. The manufacturer lists HD3130-BK as a scanner with stand. USB-cable kits have different part numbers such as HD3130-BKK1B.
Does 60 cm apply to every label?
No. The datasheet lists 2–60 cm for 20 mil codes but 5–15 cm for 5 mil codes; print quality, symbol length, angle and lighting affect the result.
