QM2131 is a cordless linear imager for long barcodes on packaging, documents and utility bills. Its wide scan line helps capture these codes at close working distances. This -433 package includes the black scanner and base station/charger, with interface cable and power supply purchased separately. Choose the K1 USB kit when you also need the included USB cable.
Before you order:
Order the correct interface cable and any required power supply separately. This 1D reader does not decode QR or Data Matrix, and its STAR 433MHz radio does not pair by Bluetooth. The 25m open-air range depends on installation conditions.

What It Means in Practice
- For example, scan a long carton label near a receiving desk and send its code through the base and a separately selected host cable to your application. The wide line helps span the barcode; align it across the bars.
- Batch mode holds more than 500 linear codes for a configured offline workflow. Check upload and clearing settings before a stock count; the application manages products and quantities.
What Will Not Work
- No QR, Data Matrix or full 2D imaging.
- No direct Bluetooth pairing with a phone or tablet.
- IP42 is not waterproof. A 4h charge figure requires external 12V power; it is not a guarantee for USB charging.

A 56° field of view and long aiming line support long linear codes at close working distances. Reading depth still depends on barcode density and quality.
STAR radio with base
The 433MHz point-to-point link connects the reader to its base. It operates outside the common 2.4GHz Wi-Fi/Bluetooth band; site coverage still needs checking.
Serviceable battery package
The tool-free battery package replaces the lithium-ion battery and scanner charging contacts together. Green Spot, LED and an adjustable beeper confirm reading.
