The Datalogic CAB-364 (part number 90A051350) is the official coiled RS-232 interface cable with a 25-pin male connector, used to connect a Datalogic QuickScan 2100 Series or Touch TD1100 handheld scanner to a POS terminal, PLC or legacy computer with a DB-25 serial port. Datalogic specifies it at 6.5 ft (about 2 m).
Power for the scanner is taken either from pin 9 of the host connector or from an external power supply, per Datalogic's description — so check what your host provides before ordering.
Before you order: Datalogic lists CAB-364 for the QuickScan 2100 Series and the Touch TD1100. It is not listed for Magellan, Gryphon 4200, QuickScan 2200 or QuickScan 2500 scanners. The host must have a 25-pin RS-232 port and supply power on pin 9 — otherwise you need an external power supply.

- If the host does not supply 5 V on pin 9, order the matching Datalogic power supply; the cable alone will not power the scanner.
- The scanner must be configured for the RS-232 interface (baud rate, parity) to match the host.
