The black/yellow Datalogic PowerScan PD9130 is a corded industrial scanner for linear 1D labels in receiving, manufacturing and stock-control workstations. Its green LED scanning line helps you aim, while Green Spot and two LEDs confirm a good read. This listing supplies one scanner only: select the appropriate interface cable separately and connect it to a compatible host and receiving application. It does not read QR or other matrix 2D codes.

Before you order:
USB, RS-232 and Keyboard Wedge are supported interface options through the correct cable and configuration. They do not mean that three cables or a host computer are included. Check connector, power and application requirements before installation.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × PD9130 black/yellow corded scanner.
  • Interface cable and optional mounting accessories are separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • Fit the correct interface cable, configure the host mode and data format with Datalogic Aladdin or setup barcodes, then open the receiving field in your application.
  • For example, scan a carton’s 1D label at the receiving desk; the host software records the item. The green scan line aims at the label, whereas the Green Spot confirms decoding.
  • IP65 and the published drop test help when selecting for demanding workplaces; they do not remove the need to protect the cable and maintain the reading window.

What Will Not Work

  • No QR, Data Matrix or other matrix 2D reading. Choose an area imager for those codes.
  • No cordless operation or standalone inventory software; the scanner depends on the connected host/application.
