The Datalogic QuickScan QD2590 is an entry-level 2D corded handheld scanner from the QuickScan 2500 series, engineered for retail POS checkout. Despite its affordable price point, the QD2590 punches well above its weight with a 1-megapixel omnidirectional imager, precision blue double-triangle aiming system, Datalogic's patented Green Spot good-read confirmation, and Motionix motion-sensing technology. It reads all 1D and 2D barcodes — including damaged, poorly printed, and screen-displayed codes — and scans through plexiglass barriers for contactless checkout scenarios.
