Delock Adapter BNC Female > 2 Pin Terminal Block
BNC female2 pin terminal block50 OhmNo soldering
The Delock BNC female to 2 pin terminal block adapter lets you connect two bare wires — signal and ground — to equipment or cables that use a BNC plug, without soldering or crimping a BNC connector. Impedance is 50 Ohm and the terminal block has a 5.00 mm pitch.
Delock aims it at industrial and hobby applications, for example model railway control, test signals on a workbench or temporary wiring of sensors and triggers. It is a quick way to bring a two-wire lead into a BNC system.
Before you order: The BNC side is female: it needs a BNC plug (male) on your cable or device. This is a 50 Ohm part — for 75 Ohm video systems the mismatch matters only on long or high-frequency runs.
What's in the Box
- 1 × Delock adapter BNC female > 2 pin terminal block
- Supplied in a zip poly bag
What It Means in Practice
- Strip the two wires, insert them into the terminal block (signal and shield/ground) and connect a BNC cable to the other side.
- Handy for test benches, trigger inputs and low-frequency signals where a proper coax termination is not worth the effort.
- Swapping or re-wiring is quick because nothing is soldered.
- For long RF or HD video runs, a correctly terminated coaxial cable will perform better than bare wires.
What Will Not Work
- It will not connect to a BNC jack (female) — you need a BNC plug on the other side.
- It does not provide shielding for the bare-wire part, so it is not a substitute for coax in RF installations.
- It is not a balun: it does not convert video to twisted pair for long-distance CCTV.
- It is not weatherproof for outdoor use.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A BNC-to-terminal adapter is a workshop shortcut: it turns any two-wire lead into a BNC connection in seconds. Keep it for test, control and low-frequency signals, and use proper coax for RF and video. For CCTV systems, see our IP cameras which run over a single network cable.
✓ Buy it if you need to connect bare wires to BNC equipment quickly and without soldering.
✕ Skip it if you are building an RF or long video link that needs a shielded, matched coax connection.
→ Also consider a BNC video balun if you want to run analogue CCTV video over twisted-pair cable.
