Delock 64 GB Memory Stick — USB-C and Type-A

Both USB-C and Type-A100 MB/s read, 46 MB/s writeMetal housing, 36.8 mmKeyring eyelet

The Delock 54075 is a 64 GB memory stick with both a USB-C and a USB Type-A plug on one metal body. The inner part turns and latches to expose whichever connector you need, so there is no cap and nothing to lose. Delock publishes up to 100 MB/s read and 46 MB/s write over USB 5 Gbps, in a housing measuring 36.8 × 12.1 × 7.1 mm with an eyelet for a keyring. It is meant for moving files between a phone or tablet and a computer without an adapter in between.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the article number, not the name. Delock’s 54071 is also a 64 GB metal memory stick with an almost identical name, but it is USB Type-A only — there is no USB-C plug on it at all. Order that one expecting to use it with a phone and it simply will not connect. This article, 54075, is the dual one. Note also that Delock now labels this standard “USB 5 Gbps” rather than “USB 3.2 Gen 1” — same specification, newer wording, so listings using either name are describing the same drive. For phone or tablet use the device needs a USB-C port with OTG support. Delock states 3,000 maximum write cycles and a power draw of up to 5 W, and lists the drive as a consumer product rather than an industrial one.

Best For

✓ Moving photos and video off a phone
✓ Working between a tablet and a laptop
✓ A keyring drive that fits both port types
✓ Travel storage in a trouser pocket
✓ Handing files to someone on different hardware
✓ Anywhere an adapter would otherwise be needed

Key Features

Two plugs, one swivel
A USB-C plug and a USB Type-A plug on the same body. Delock’s design turns the inner part and latches it in place, so the connector you are not using stays inside the metal shell.

Published read and write
Up to 100 MB/s read and up to 46 MB/s write, both stated by Delock for this article. Publishing a write figure is unusual at this size, and the write speed is the one you actually wait on.

Metal housing with an eyelet
A sturdy metal body 36.8 mm long with an eyelet moulded for a keyring. It is short enough not to lever on a phone port and solid enough to live with keys.

Wide temperature range
Rated 0 to 70 °C in operation and -25 to 85 °C in storage — noticeably broader than several competing drives, which matters for anything that travels in a car here.

Warranty

Manufacturer Term Delock publishes no warranty term in years for this article. What an EU buyer has is the statutory guarantee owed by the seller, which is not the same thing as a factory warranty. Singular’s direct warranty is 1 year; beyond that we assist you with the manufacturer’s warranty process for its full duration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it really have both connectors?
Yes. Delock lists one USB Type-A male plug and one USB Type-C male plug on the same drive. The inner section turns and latches to bring out whichever one you need. Be careful with the adjacent article 54071, which shares almost the same name and has only the Type-A plug.
Why does it say USB 5 Gbps instead of USB 3.2 Gen 1?
Delock has changed its labelling. USB 5 Gbps and USB 3.2 Gen 1 are the same specification under two names, so a listing that says either is describing this drive. Nothing about the hardware differs.
How fast is it in practice?
Delock publishes up to 100 MB/s read and up to 46 MB/s write. The write figure is the honest one to plan around: filling 64 GB at 46 MB/s takes roughly twenty minutes, which is reasonable for a drive this size. Real speed also depends on the port and the files.
Will it work with my phone?
If the phone has a USB-C port and supports USB OTG, yes — that covers nearly every recent Android device, and USB-C iPhones and iPads mount it in the Files app. At 36.8 mm it is short enough not to strain the port. A thick case can get in the way, so tell us the model if you are unsure.
Singular Expert Insight
Delock is not a household name the way Kingston or SanDisk are, and the reason to look at this drive anyway is that Delock publishes what most brands at this price will not: a write speed, a write-cycle figure, a power draw and a full operating temperature range. Up to 46 MB/s write on a dual-connector 64 GB drive is a genuinely useful number to be able to compare. The two things to weigh against that are the missing warranty term — Delock states none, so our own one-year cover is the concrete part — and the article-number trap, where 54071 looks almost identical and has no USB-C plug. Tell us which phone and which computer this has to bridge and we will confirm the right article before you order.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want a small metal drive with both USB-C and USB-A plugs, 64 GB is enough, and you value having a published write speed rather than a read-only headline.

Skip it if

You need more than 64 GB, you want a stated manufacturer warranty period, or you only ever use one port type and are paying for a connector you will never touch.

Also consider

Delock’s 128 GB dual article 54076 if 64 GB is too small, or the Silicon Power Mobile C80 and Intenso Twist Line for other dual-connector drives in metal bodies.
