DICOTA Privacy Filter 2-Way Magnetic for Apple iMac 24" (D80100-2MG)

2-way privacyiMac 24″Magnetic

The DICOTA D80100-2MG is a 2-way magnetic privacy filter made to fit the Apple iMac 24-inch. It darkens the display for anyone viewing from more than about 30° to the left or right, keeping client data, finance screens and HR records private in reception areas, shops and open-plan offices.

Integrated magnets let you attach and remove the filter in seconds; the enclosed self-adhesive magnetic strips make it hold securely on the iMac frame. The filter is anti-glare, scratch-resistant (2H), reduces fingerprints, cuts blue light by up to 42 % and has an antibacterial surface.

Compatibility note: Designed for the Apple iMac 24-inch only. It protects left/right (2-way); viewers directly behind you can still see the screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the magnetic filter easy to take off?
Yes. The magnets hold it on the iMac frame and it lifts off in seconds when you want to share the screen, then snaps back into place.
What is the difference from the side-mounted iMac filter?
DICOTA also offers a side-mounted 2-way iMac 24″ filter (D80100-2SM) that uses plastic holders. The magnetic D80100-2MG is quicker to attach and remove and leaves only slim magnetic strips on the frame.
Singular Expert Insight
The magnetic version is the most convenient privacy solution for an iMac that is sometimes shared: on for customer data, off for presentations. For fixed privacy that never comes off, a side-mounted version is slightly cheaper. More sizes in our display filters.
✓ Buy it if you have an iMac 24″ in a shared or public space and want privacy you can remove quickly.
✕ Skip it if you need protection from above/below as well.
→ Also consider DICOTA D80100-2SM (side-mounted iMac 24″) or DICOTA D50063-2SM (universal 24″ 16:10).
