The DIGITUS DN-10136 is a 4-port 2.5 Gigabit PCIe network card that adds 4 2.5 Gigabit RJ45 ports to a desktop PC, workstation or server through a PCIe 2.1 x4 slot. Four 2.5G ports on one card make it a natural fit for OPNsense/pfSense routers and multi-gig home labs. It uses the Realtek RTL8125B + ASMedia ASM1806 controller and connects at 10/100/1000/2500 Mbps. Low-profile bracket included. Several ports on one card are the usual building block for firewalls, virtualisation hosts and servers that need separate networks for users, storage and management.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the slot: the card needs a free PCIe slot that is physically x4 or longer (x8/x16); it will not fit an x1 slot. Brackets: Low-profile bracket included. 2.5 Gbps needs a 2.5G partner: the switch or router port must support 2.5GBASE-T, otherwise the link runs at 1 Gbps. Cat5e cable is enough.
