DIGITUS DS-55359 — 4K Wireless HDMI Extender Set, up to 150 m
4K/60Hz wirelessUp to 150 m line of sightHDMI 2.0 · HDCP 2.2Plug & play pairing
The DIGITUS DS-55359 is a wireless HDMI extender set — one transmitter and one receiver — that sends 4K/60Hz video with 2-channel audio from an HDMI source to a display up to 150 m away with clear line of sight. It is made for meeting rooms, classrooms, events and digital signage where running an HDMI cable is impractical or not allowed.
Both units are small HDMI sticks that plug straight into the source and the display and are powered over USB-C. They pair automatically, pick a free 5 GHz Wi-Fi channel by themselves and need no drivers or app. The link uses H.265 compression and AES 128-bit encryption, with a latency of about 100 ms.
Before you order: Range depends on the path: 150 m is with clear line of sight and the antenna unfolded (100 m folded). Walls, glass and people shorten the range, and DIGITUS does not publish a figure for indoor through-wall use. About 100 ms latency is fine for presentations and video, not for fast gaming.

- 1 × receiver unit
- 2 × USB-A to USB-C cables (100 cm)

What It Means in Practice
- Plug the transmitter into the laptop, PC or player and the receiver into the TV or projector; power both from a USB port or USB charger (5 V / 2 A each).
- Use the short HDMI extension cables when the HDMI port is recessed or crowded.
- Up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz, HDMI 2.0 with HDCP 2.2 — protected streaming content can pass through.
- Audio is stereo PCM only; surround formats are not published.
What Will Not Work
- It is point-to-point: one transmitter to one receiver. DIGITUS does not publish multi-receiver (1:N) use for this set.
- It does not carry USB keyboard/mouse — for that, the KVM version DIGITUS DS-55360 is the right set.
- It is for indoor use only.
- HDR and multichannel audio are not published — do not count on them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I power it from the TV’s USB port?
Only if the port supplies 5 V / 2 A. Many TV USB ports deliver less, so a USB charger is the reliable option.
Will it go through walls?
Some walls, yes, at reduced range; DIGITUS cannot give a fixed figure because it depends on the building. For through-wall or very long distances, an HDMI-over-IP or HDBaseT extender over cable is more predictable.
Is it good for gaming?
The approx. 100 ms latency is noticeable in fast games. It is designed for presentations, video and signage.
Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
A wireless set like this saves a cable run across a hall, courtyard or between buildings with a clear view, and sets up in minutes. If you need a guaranteed link through several walls or to several screens, go wired over network cable instead. For splitting one source to multiple screens, see our
video splitters.
✓ Buy it if you need to send 4K HDMI from one source to one display without cabling, ideally with line of sight.
✕ Skip it if you need keyboard/mouse control, several receivers, or near-zero latency.
