The Digitus DS-12910 is an 8-port HDMI KVM switch that lets one keyboard, mouse and monitor control up to eight computers or servers at resolutions up to 4K (3840 x 2160) at 30 Hz. It is built for server rooms, labs and control desks where eight machines share one console in a 19" rack.
Ports are selected with the front-panel buttons, keyboard hotkeys or the on-screen display (OSD), which also offers a user-login mode, and Auto Scan cycles through the connected systems automatically. Keep Online keyboard/mouse emulation and DDC support keep every connected PC responsive at BIOS level without drivers.
Compatibility note: KVM cables are not included. Each computer needs an HDMI cable plus a USB-A to USB-B cable (4K-capable HDMI cables for UHD). 4K is limited to 30 Hz, which suits server consoles and office work but not smooth video or gaming at 60 Hz.
