The DIGITUS Active USB 3.2 Gen 2 extension cable (part number DA-73112) extends a USB-C port of a computer by 5 m to a USB-C socket at up to 10 Gbps. An integrated MCDP6200C1 amplifier refreshes the signal, so SuperSpeed devices such as webcams, card readers and hubs keep working at distances where a passive cable would fail.
Compatibility Note: The connected device can draw only about 4 W through the cable, so high-power devices such as 2.5-inch/3.5-inch hard drives or printers need their own power supply. Plug the USB-C male end into the computer; the cable is not bidirectional.
