The DA-81006 is a corded area imager for printed barcodes and codes displayed on screens. Its white and petrol housing, high-resolution CMOS sensor and included holder distinguish this kit from basic linear scanners and cordless models.

Before you order:
The supplied 2 m cable connects a USB-A host to the scanner’s RJ45 socket. This RJ45 socket is a scanner cable connector, not an Ethernet network connection.

What It Means in Practice

Does it scan QR codes from a phone?
Yes. The manufacturer supports 2D codes and digital displays; readability still depends on code size, quality and screen conditions.
Is the RJ45 connection Ethernet?
No. It is the scanner-side connector on the supplied USB cable. The host connection is USB-A.
Does every operating mode work without a driver?
USB-HID is plug and play. USB-COM and RS232 require the appropriate host configuration and connection accessories.
