The DIGITUS DN-93615-S-4 is a pack of 4 shielded CAT 6A compact (short-body) RJ45 keystone modules with tool-free termination, rated to 500 MHz for 10GBASE-T. It is for installers who need CAT 6A in shallow wall boxes, junction boxes or panels where a standard-length keystone is too deep.
DIGITUS describes it as a short keystone module whose compact design fits design-compatible modular junction boxes and allows a full row in 19-inch 1U panels. The housing is nickel-plated zinc die-cast with 360° shield contact.

What It Means in Practice
- 10GBASE-T to 100 m channel when the full link is shielded CAT 6A — the usual standard for new office and building cabling.
- Tool-free LSA termination: lay the pairs in the colour-coded T568A or T568B slots and close the module, no punch-down tool needed.
- 360° shield contact carries the cable screen into the panel, so earthing works the way shielded cabling requires.
- PoE, PoE+ and 4PPoE (802.3af/at/bt) are supported, so access points and cameras can be powered over the same link.
- The shorter body leaves more room for the cable bend behind the module, which helps in shallow flush boxes and surface-mount outlets.
What Will Not Work
- CAT 6A performance needs shielded CAT 6A cable and patch cords end to end; with lower-category parts the link drops to that category.
- It is a keystone jack, not a cable plug — it needs a keystone patch panel, outlet or box.
- Conductors outside AWG 26–22 are not specified.

Shielded CAT 6A is the safe default for new copper cabling: 10G to 100 m, full PoE support and room for Wi-Fi 6/7 access points. The module is only one part of the channel — keep cable, panel and patch cords at the same category and earth the rack and panel properly.
✓ Buy it if you need CAT 6A in shallow wall or junction boxes where depth is tight.
✕ Skip it if depth is not an issue and you want the cable-manager version for extra strain relief.
