This is a Cat 6 (Class E, 250 MHz) cord. The distributor feed sometimes calls this range "Cat 6e" — that is not a real category; ASSMANN catalogues it as Cat 6. It carries Gigabit Ethernet with ease and handles 10GBASE-T over short runs, but if you are building a certified 10 Gbit/s channel choose the Cat 6A DK-1644-A version. DIGITUS publishes no PoE class for this cord. For S/FTP to be effective the shield must be grounded at the switch or patch panel end.
